Life Changes

Just here to report recent events in my life.  I still have one more year left at UW-Madison as I now am double majoring (adding on Computer Science).  This summer I interned with Liberty Mutual working in their IT department making internal websites for employees to use.  It was an absolutely amazing experience (they even flew us out to Boston at the end of it for a couple days).
During my last week I had an interview for their highly selective Technical Development Program.  I was lucky enough to be accepted into the program, and they made me an offer to work in their Seattle office.  I have until Nov. 1st to accept the offer.  Unless something extremely good comes up I will probably be taking the offer and moving out their next May - June once I graduate.

To say I'm happy would be an understatement.  I was born and raised in the midwest, and although I love it here, I'm looking for some change.  I have always loved the Cascades and the Pacific Northwest the couple times I have been there, and this is an awesome way to get out there.  I can't wait to graduate and move out there.  Stay tuned for more updates.

In other news I just returned from the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota (where the picture above is from).  I'm going to write up a trip report and my thoughts soon, so stay tuned for that also.  I'll also have a full set of pictures to show everyone.

As always, climb high,
-Brad
